Care and Use

Caring for a handmade bar of soap the right way will increase its longevity, scent, and the overall enjoyment. 

Our handmade soaps are made in small batches and cut at approximately 5oz. Each batch and bar is unique with variations in color and design. 

First Use: 
 - Wet bar and skin and create lather until it is well developed and massage the lather onto the skin. Massage all over skin and then rinse throughly. 

Continued Use: 
- It's important to allow your soap bar to dry fully when not in use. Store it on a soap dish or holder that allows water to drain away from the soap. 
- Avoid letting the soap to sit in water, or it will quickly turn to a mushy consistency and shorten its life span. 
- Extremely humid environments will also shorten the life of your soap. 
- Store in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight. 
- Scent naturally fades over time. Once you start using it, the scent will return and develop. 
- To get the most out of your soaps if you have several scents, try rotating them through your shower or bathroom. This will allow plenty of dry time as well as will maintain the strongest scent.
